Policy & preparation

Thank You For Choosing Us To Service Your Home

How to prepare for your service

Prior to Our Arrival

1. Please take a moment to physically inspect all your outdoor water spigots and ensure they are in the “on” position and fully functional. Our work relies on access to water, and without it, we won’t be able to proceed.

2. Prior to our arrival, kindly remove all exterior decorations such as doormats, wind chimes, hanging or potted plants, flags, or any obstructive items. Place these objects at a distance of at least 15 feet from your home, either inside or elsewhere on your property.

3. Please close all windows, storm windows, and doors. Be prepared for minimal water seepage around windows and doors, often due to aged or deteriorated seals. We recommend having towels ready to address any water that might find its way inside through these openings.

4.To facilitate our work, we kindly request that you move your vehicles out of the driveway before our arrival. We will need to block your driveway during the service, and our truck cannot be relocated once we’re set up and operational. If possible, avoid parking directly in front of your house, as our service includes thorough curb cleaning along the entire length of your property.

5. If we’re scheduled to clean your deck or patio, please ensure that all items are removed from these surfaces and placed at least 15 feet away from the area. Kindly avoid positioning objects closer, as they might obstruct our work. You may leave tables, gas grills, chimneys, and heavy potted plants in place; everything else should be relocated.

6. For roof cleaning, we request that you follow the same guidelines as for deck and patio cleaning. Roof cleaning can generate debris that falls to the ground, so please move your belongings to allow for proper cleanup.

7. If we’re tasked with cleaning your pool concrete, the pool cover must be off, the area should be free of furniture, and any safety fences should be removed if possible. Keep the pool pump running and the vacuum installed, as debris may enter the pool during the cleaning process.

Day Of Preperations

1. Ensure all gates on your property are unlocked to grant us access to the entire premises.

2. If we’re performing a pool screen cleaning, please be aware that the removal of pine needles, leaves, or lichen may incur an additional charge. Our screen cleaning includes the removal of mold, mildew, bee nests, mud, dirt, and grime. Not all pine needles, leaves, or lichen may be fully removed, as they may require an extended, specialized service.

3. On the day of our service, kindly refrain from scheduling deliveries or other contractor work, whether inside or outside your home. Our work can involve inherent risks, and we aim to ensure everyone’s safety.

4. For the duration of our service, please keep all your pets indoors to guarantee their safety and well-being.

5. If you have plans to plant flowers, apply mulch, seal your driveway, clean your windows, or engage in exterior painting, it’s advisable to schedule these tasks for after our service is complete, rather than beforehand.

6. While our team is at work, please refrain from entering or exiting your home, as there is a risk of falling objects, water exposure, and exposure to chemical vapors.

Rescheduling

1. In case you need to reschedule for any reason, we completely understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. We kindly ask that if possible, you provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice.

2. In the event of rain, we will likely continue our work unless there is a presence of thunder and lightning, in which case we will temporarily halt the service to ensure everyone’s safety.

No, there’s no need to be at home. However, please make sure to review the checklist above and confirm that all pre-wash tasks are finished before you depart.

We offer various payment options, including cash on-site, Venmo or Zelle transfers, and credit card payments. Please note that a 3% service fee will apply to credit card transactions

We’re flexible when it comes to additional services during your visit. Simply inform us of your specific requests, and we’ll furnish you with a customized quote accordingly.

Certainly. House washing employs a mild Sodium Hypochlorite solution to effectively eliminate organic substances such as algae and mold. This process is executed with low pressure to mitigate any potential surface damage and water intrusion around windows.

Yes, we can remove rust stains from hard water deposits. Rust stains from metal are more difficult and may not be completely removed. Rust Removal is not part of normal service and may require an additional fee.

While we implement measures to safeguard outdoor plants, there is a slight possibility of yellowing. To minimize this risk, we recommend pre-watering your plants and activating sprinklers before our arrival.

The formation of black streaks on gutters can be attributed to roof acids and oxidation. It’s important to note that a standard exterior house cleaning may not completely eliminate all of these black streaks. For an additional fee, we offer services such as gutter brushing and tiger streak removal to address this specific issue.
